Interesting k98 police bayonet

Picked this one up today.

I hate to say that in my opinion, the bayonet is a Spanish Model 1943 [ P.R.8. is a Spanish marking ] and not German. It is also my opinion that the police emblem is on the wrong grip and may not even be of the period. You can wait for some more opinions, but I would consider returning it if possible.
