I found this uniform complete with a German belt with a RBN r
Could this be a TR hunting or forestry uniform?

Civilian trachten uniform...or technically a jacket...
Not really a uniform...

As stated this type of trachten, or folk costume suit is still available for sale, particularly in Austria. I have one very similar, even with the same striped pants that I bought New for wear at a wedding in Wien.

There is nothing to connect this to any shooting or hunting organization during the NS-Zeit or after.

The belt was probably thrown in to make it appear period used.

I found the costume with belt at a local "junk/housewares" auction and wanted to rule out that the jacket and pants were anything 'special'.
Finding the belt was a nice surprise.
