    Polizei dinnerware

Has anyone seen anything like this before?
    Are these correct.
I know someone that has them and I am going to make an offer to him to sell them to me.
They are the kind of odd thing that I like.
I have grown kind of fat and lazy and I have ot have something that kinda' 'trips my trigger' and I think this is it.
I just want to know that they aren't some post-war frippery.
Lousy pictures, believe me, I know but it is what I've got.
    Thanx,
    Tim

There are post war examples, your photos are not all that terrific. Maker? and maker mark?. Thing is they just add the adler to an existing piece of porcelain that is period correct.

I do not like the cup, that means the pitcher is probably bad and most likely adorned post war on period porcelain. If these are scattered maker marks its a problem and the cup is out and you want to measure that transfer against the others and check the maker marks. These are not expensive pieces and are readily available at fair prices on original examples, you do not want to be buying other peoples mistakes here. Passion is fine, but if your getting fat and lazy dont be expecting to many hot chicks to be jumping in your lap unless your holing a wad of singles.

I totally agree and I have asked for better photos and to include any markings on the bottom side of the pieces.
If I get them, I'll post them.
          Thank you.

See the scale on these transfers and how they are smaller overall and the detail?. Colors as well.

Here is an original platter, see the scale of the transfer that CPB shows.

These days guys can take period porcelain and add marks under the glaze and do all kinds of things, so 40.00 and under pieces are all over market for 100.00-200.00 and no one really pays much attention to it because its still cheap and the porcelain by all appearances is real.

Will post any pics that I get from my guy.
I told him, in a nice way, that his pictures suck bullets.
              So, we'll see.
Once again, thank you for pointing the way for me!

Alright, keep in mind this is me now and just my opinion.

I do not like the pitcher as original Deutsches polizei, I do not like the porcelain as original either.

I do not like the cup in post #9 as original Deutsches polizei, I am not liking the porcelain either.

I do not like the platter because the transfer is the same as the two up above it, and while the makers can differ, here I would prefer that they be the same and I think the bulk of the original polizei are Schoenwald.

The pin tray has the same transfer as well, and that appears to be original Bauscher Weiden porcelain but dressed up and may not date to the period.

Marks, porcelain, and the transfers. None of these are one looker pieces for me. Some of the material out there is ground up, other material is groups of crockery that is dressed up using period porcelain of various maker porcelain. Here you have both but all using the same transfer, so this guy probably collected it and sourced it from the same place.

To be perfectly frank and honest, after getting these better pictures, I'm not what could be best described as 'smitten' myself.
Subject to some strong dissenting opinion from another member, I am:
A- Going to thank you for your help

                          and

B -Wait on something else to buy.
Something easy, like an original SS poster or like item.

But to be serious, thank you for voicing your opinion unstintingly.
                          I appreciate it.
