    Schutzpolizei Sleeve Insignia???

Is this a Schutzpolizei Sleeve Insignia? Is it original? The white threads do not glow under UV light. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Sleeve eagles

This might be one of the examples from a large grouping of eagles. Known as the "Hoard". Lets see what other police collectors have to say.

    Take care, Randy

      Hello,

Your insignia is an original post 1941 civil gendarmerie NCO's sleeve eagle. Schutzpolizei insignia are embroidered in green, gendarmerie, orange.

This pattern has been associated with the area around Koln in Prussia.

      Regards,
      William Unland

Orange is for the Gendarmerie (Schutzpolizei is Green) and yes it is another example of the 'hoard', see below linked thread and links within that thread. Also to note is that these are on a lighter and more grey looking base and thought to have been possible Feld-Gend. connected.
