    Feuerschutzpolizei - musician tunic

    Hello all.

A couple days ago I got this FSP tunic - including Helmet and Belt - from the Lokal firefighters.

Now I will make a display for the 100th birthday oft the Lokal fire Brigade.

I have photos of this jacket in wear but unfortunately they are small and the eagle is very hard to see.

Now my question: would it a plain eagle, one with the townso name or something else?

    Another "ghost" of the patch.

As I was told the tunic was stripped and used for a short time after the end of the war.

Should I restore it or should it stay as they are?

Are you sure you want to display it with an eagle+swaz' ?
I would not do that nowadays ...
Unless a Polizei eagle pink embroidered on dark blue , with or without city name would be ok !

The Lokal fire chief ask me for an 3rd Reich uniform. They want to show the changing of uniforms since the founding of the local fire Brigade.

But you are right. I'm between "a historical correct Tunic" or "a political correct tunic ".

Thanks for your kind words and help!

There was just some tobacco in one of the pockets.

                    Thanks for the photoshoot Ron.

I'm just curious because my tunic doesn't have the red piping. Looks like it never has.
The collar plates have a black piping.

                      Small update on my project

Finally got a nice pair of shoulder boards.

Now the eagle... that's a hard one...

                        Hello,

                        nice jacket-projekt!

The karmesin-red-pipping is missing, because it is an pre-1936-model. The red pipping was introduced in 1936.

                        Gut Wehr!

Again a small update. The final one.

The long Search is finally over. I found a perfect matching eagle.

I also got a small fire related ribbon bar.

I'm really happy how this project turned out.
