    Who are these Guys???

    As seen on German E-bay:

OK I give up.....police green tunics with cuff facings, Black trousers, Justiz type caps, strange sleeve insignia (looks like a city wappen topped by an eagle clutching a swastika) and cuff title......which seems to have something to do with the penal system i.e: "Vollzugs".

Does anybody know who these guys are? I have never seen anything like this.

The cuffband says Verwaltungs-Vollzugsabteilung. So these are members of some kind of prison administrative personal

Very neat Bill! I have not seen these uniforms before either. I cannot make out the configuration of the sword or bayonets (and knots) worn by these fellows either. They are wearing standard Polizei NCO buckles, which are correct for some penal personnel.

        Hello,

I have been told by a very knowledgeable member that the patch is that of the city of CHEMNITZ and that local tram operators wore the same city patch.

Chemnitz is also mentioned in the photo description. Consequently these guys were some sort of city jail administrators. A penal GEMPO if you will. Seems like a lot of people for that though.

Of course they might be associated with FLOSSENBURG camp in some way but who knows?

        Regards,
