BDM badge..

Hi guys, need your help with this one.. found this BDM badge online I believe it is an original. The reverse is marked with the RZM logo as you can see in the second photo even though it is hard to depict. Also has a capital B on the bottom of the reverse. Need to confirm it is genuine? Also, What was this badge for ?
