Miners hat + Miners beltbuckle in Box

    Hi all,

just go this nice little set. Its still dusty from the attic. It is not exactly what I collect so I seek for information what this set might be worth ? Also, is it some kind of "Beamter" given the silver eagle ??
    Any info would be great.

    Thank you, Jens

Very nice set. No government official, just a member of the civil miner's association...they still exist. The cap and buckle are for the gala uniform worn at parades and holidays. The tradition is still practiced, albeit without the swastikas. I have seen such parades a few times while in Berchtesgaden during the holidays.

Value is in the eyes of the beholder. The organization is not widly collected since no military or government connection. That said these are rare, particularly the belt which I am sure you will have no problem finding a buyer for. The cap could be a little more difficult. I think that there is one on the e-stand now.
