    Hj Fliger Tunic Question

I have this HJ jacket, which is devoid of all insignia execept for the RZM tag,
which calls it a "HJ Fliger somthing winter somthing" I was planning on restoring it, but I the realized that I would need the blue piped HJ boards for it. It doesn't really fit in with my combat related collection, so I was wondering what you guys think the value of this is restored vs. unrestored.

The condition is good, the lighting and my attempt bring out the details makes it look a bit discolored. I am thinking that being a HJ fliger jacket makes this a harder to find jacket.

      Hey Jerry!
I'm that kid that is always dropping by your shop.
I did some searching for you and here is what I found cached away on the Ruptured Duck(item no loner for sale):
U-133 Flieger HJ (Hitler Jugend) / Deutsches Jungvolk Winter Pullover Shirt
Wartime example with the set- up for shoulder boards. This shirt is made of a very nice quality dark blue wool, with an interesting texture that is tough to describe (not a twill, but rather almost a coarse terrycloth feel to it). It is a pullover type shirt, with a breast vent closure (secured with four pebbled aluminum buttons). All of the larger buttons are RZM marked and all are matched in the manufacturer’s code (M5 / 72). There is a loop at the mid-point of each shoulder for the shoulder boards. The two smaller buttons at each cuff are marked in the same manner. The lower of the two buttons on the left cuff is larger than the rest and is clearly a replacement, in the breast closure button size – but it is at least also marked M5 / 72. The shirt is unlined, though the bottom two or three inches of each sleeve cuff and the undersides of the pocket flaps are lined with black rayon. The cloth at the back of the shirt on the interior is incredibly well marked with two distinct stamps in yellow (?) ink positioned nearly side by side, on a vertical axis (i.e. you would have to read them like a book spine on a shelf, if unable to physically turn the shirt). The uppermost mark is a long rectangle bearing both a Hitler Youth diamond and an RZM mark. It reads: “D.J. Blusenstoff” (D.J. Blouse Fabric). Next to this is a manufacturer’s logo – looks like a griffon, or lion, with a sword; still legible at the bottom is “Original Thalmann”. The straight edged bottom hem of the approximately size 40 shirt has a black oilcloth RZM tag giving the nomenclature as “HL. DJ. – Flieger HJ.-Winterbluse” (HJ, DJ – Flight HJ Winter Shirt). The manufacturer’s code is “2/ 60919” (last digit questionable). The shirt has just a little storage soiling on the upper part of the right sleeve, otherwise is in outstanding condition. A seldom encountered piece of Hitler Youth clothing!
      $225.00
If it is still for sale, I will take it as soon as I get the money.
      Later!
      Karl

        Jerry-
Besides the shoulders boards, you will also need a district triangle that matches the unit number on the shoulder boards. Not an impossible task but challenging.

This is not specifically a Flieger HJ bluse--as shown on the RZM label, it was intended for any HJ/DJ/or Flieger HJ--it's a generic HJ winter blouse.
