Fireservice peaked service cap, postwar or wartime?

Today I got a gift from a fireservice comrade.
The service cap was used postwar by a firefighter in lower saxony, so the ghosts of the badge on front.

But is it wartime? The fireservice in Niedersachsen used caps without carmesine red piping on top in postwar, but this one has the piping like wartime production. But the way of manufacture is looking postwar to me. So it is maybe a postwar private tailored item?

It appears postwar manufactured to me. The grey underside of the visor and sweatband is a typical postwar color and it appears to have "DBGM" on the label instead of "DRGM" if I read it correctly.

Thank you, postwar was my opinion, too.

Agreed--postwar. Easiest "tell" is "DBGM" (during the Reich it was "DRGM").
