Hello Collectors

I got these photos today from a friend. He told me his Father was a Policemen in ww2 and these knuckles were given to him from his father after war. Thats all i know so far. I believe those were never issued items? More of a private purchase to defend yourself in service? Or am i wrong..there is not much info around about these. I know there are illegal..any infos on what they sell for if they turn up???

Only markings is the number 540

Knuckles or "schlagringe" were an issue item.

The one pictured above is a similar version of the "Boxer" model.

Here are a couple more. The "Boxer" is the brass one in the middle.
