      Thank you !

I looks like the acorns are missing from the shoulder boards.

        Period yes, but NOT COMPLETE!
The collar tabs are missing as with most forestry coats and tunics which remained in service after the war.

        Regards
        Stefany

          Thank you.

What kind of collar tabs would you suggest putting on ?
It looks from the photos that acorns are missing from the shoulder boards as well.

          Thanks !

The correct collar tabs for this rank ( and also for the next higher one with acorn ) are for rank of Revierfoerster - oakleafs in the lower egdes and two oakleafs in the centre.

Unfortunately I am not allowed to post pics - but send me Your e-mail address and I will post Yopu a photo of the correct style.

            Best
            Stefany

Coat belonged to Revierfoerster Horst Quednau. He was the Revierfoerster since 1934 at Rekau near Ortelsburg in East Prussia and was killed in 1943 at Stalingrad, while serving with 3rd Company of Pionier-Bataillon 41.
