    My forestry uniform :)

Finally, my uniform is complete! After bought a bad tunic, but with the help from FoersterBerlin, is finally complete. All is original and displayed historical correct.
I would like to thank FoersterBerlin again for all her help with buying a correct one and get the facts straight!

What you are looking at is a A-Rock for a Revierförster of 1938 dress regulation. Made by Gebrueder Hoffmann, Nordhausen.
Interesting detail about the town: Nordhausen was/ is near the former factory of the V-2 rocket Mittelwerk Dora. The town was heavily destroyed in 1945 by an air raid.

    Enjoy!

Looks nice , but in my opinion with the A-tunic a green belt should be worn with a burnished finish belt-buckle. This is how it was noted in the uniform-regulation (Dienstkleidungsvorschrift) from April 22, 1938 for state-forestry, page 7 (section Dienstgradabzeichen und Ausrüstungsstücke, 3a). Here it is said (in German): Sämtliche Beamte, Anwärter und Forstaufseher tragen zum A-Rock gegebenfalls das Koppel aus dunkelgrünem Leder , 4.5 cm breit mit Feldbindenschloss mit Hoheitszeichen aus brüniertem Metall.

The visore cap should have aluminum cords (same section, same page: 2a.)

Thanks Wilhelm, it is a green leather belt, but on The photo it looks like black leather [emoji4]

The visor was never graded to rank, so it never was actually worn [emoji4]

On my screen it looks a brown belt. Sorry!
But to make the cap complete you should add cords. Even a candidate (Anwärter) did wear a leather chin-strap.
But.... there is a but: at the Spangenberg forestry-school the lads did not wear cords, but the leather strap also. They did not wear shoulder-straps nor collar-patches
and neither an eagle in top for the cap.
But anyway: it is a nice set!!

I can't complete The visor, because there where no wholes made to fit The rope...

But thanks for all The info, i love knowledge

I checked for example a cataloque from the headgear-manufacturer Erich Beinhorn and yes, caps were delivered without leather chin-strap or cords. For that one had to pay extra.

Nice set up. Your impression looks a lot better now with the right tunic!
                              Great belt too!
