Schutzpolizei Visor

this is my first visor. schutzpolizei visor with original photo of the owner.
The visor I bought from a collector here in Norway, that bought it form an antiques dealer in germany.
The antiques dealer bought the visor from an estate that had the visor.
The badge has been removed cause of the denazification for germany.
The seller told me that he would get me an original badge.

The visor size is 58.5

Nice cap. Great shape to it and the chin cords even fit correctly. Great to have the photo. Too bad about the missing eagle. Be sure to replace with the proper insignia to match the photo. Don't hang a cheap NCO insignia on it if the photo shows a high detail "officers" insignia.

and where can I buy a nice original one that is the right type?

Officer cap eagles are normally two piece or just wider than the normal other ranks cap eagles. I'm sure there are members on here that might have a spare but a good website is German War Booty, I know they have a good amount of the officer cap eagles. NJ

I dont want to buy the wrong eagle for such a nice visor. If you have a link to a nice original one or if somebody have one. I am interested
