RLB M34 helmet with comb

Hey guys I found this in an old box at a flea market and paid very little for it. My intention is to sell it but I have no idea if it's real or what it's worth, it looks like a converted fire helmet to me (there's a shield painted over) but I just don't know, all opinions welcome and I hope I hit the jackpot

And the third shows the painted over shield, these are the two main thing that scare me!

Hello Bertolt,

The RLB decal is a post-war copy attempting to mimic a decal version found on the lightweight duck-bill type helmets of the period. Graphically it lacks the detail and brilliance of the originals.
