Unknown Ranks within the SHD?

I am trying to find a rational for the brownish gold embroidery and the brown/green broken piping.

This is not discoloration or tarnish.

This is the typical SHD NCO ranking... white embroidery and broken green/silver piping.

No problem Paul. You had me scratching my head thinking I'd seen that one before and then it finally dawned on me you posted it a while back. Only wish I had some new info to post about it but that is not the case at this time.
