Konigsberg road police warrant disc

I was shown this Konigsberg area road police warrant disc...
It is original no doubt. But I think is a real rare thing 'cos I never seen it at auctions. And IMHO this one before Hitler time period...
Have you ever seen this one? And what's the prise of it?

Correct is Kreis Königsberg / Neuwark

However, Chausseepolizei existed. No clue about the disc.

It looks to me like it is supposed to be worn as a badge of temporary assignment, like a gorget, but I have never seen such a thing. Is it real? I don't know. To be perfectly honest the use of the imperial Prussian eagle is a bit off putting to me. Perhaps Gerd would know, but I had always assumed that this eagle was NOT the emblem used by the police, but rather the military, so it's inclusion here strikes me as odd.

It also appears to be cast, and not of construction I would expect in an imperial item. Heavy cast bronze...odd. I would expect thin stamped brass like a tschako or pikelhaub plate.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Bill, no problem with such eagle on Imperial Police discs and no problem with Chaussee-Police in general!

However, I'm with you in case of "your 2 cents".

But who knows..
