Opinions on Tschako

I've had this Tschako for several years and just assumed it was post-war 1950-60 era. Am I correct and how to tell post-war from war-time or pre-war.

You are correct, it is a postwar tschako with a Berlin wappen. The following link is to a postwar thread, you will see the Vupa label and a similar constructed tschako to yours.
