    SchuPo grouping, recent pickup

Not really my thing, but was (I think) a good deal. Consists of:
    Max Linkert grouping
    1. 12 Nov 1928 – 4 pg (handwritten) Lebenslauf (biography)
    2. 29 October 1934 – Urkunde for award of Frontkämpfer Kreuz
    3. 18 June 1935 – Questionnaire dealing with membership in political parties or movements
    4. 28 Jun 1936 - 2 ½ pg (typded) description of entry into Schupo in Gelsenkirchen, and experience in the Ruhr uprisings of 1920
    5. 7 oct 1936 – Ausweis für die Öserreichische Kriegserrinerungensmedaille mit den Schwerten (Austrian War Memorial Medal with the Swords)
    6. 15 May 1936 – Bescheinigung from Deutsche Arbeitsfront, Gelsenkirchen, for successful completion of typing course
    7. 15 October 1936 – Letter notifying 22d Polizei-Revier of medals he’s in possession of (EK2, German Frontkämpfer, Hungarian Frontkämpfer, Austrian Frontkämpfer).
    8. 5 November 1936 – Freischwimmer Zeugnis (freestyle swimming diploma) – successful completion of 45 minutes non-stop swimming (2 of these, identical)
    9. 26 October 1938 – Urkunde for Police Long Service Award, 2nd class (18 Years). Auto-pen Meissner signature
    10. 31 July 1941 – Urkunde for promotion from Hauptwachtmeister der SchuPo to Meister der Schupo (signature ?)
    11. 27 November 1941 – Urkunde for Luftschutzehrenzeichen Second Class. Autopen Meissner
    12. 1 March 1943 – Pay statement
    13. 1945/46 – Photo, roughly passport sized. On back: “Pol Inp Max Linkert 1945/46 vorerst Leutnant”
    14. 18 May 1946 – Urkunde for promotion to Polizei Lieutenant
    15. 22 August 1958 – Official statement verifying Linkert was born in Charlottenburg, and is still alive(?!)
    16. 30 September 1959 – Urkunde for retirement from the Police
    17. (Postwar / Undated?) – Two personnel files for Max Linkert, detailing his service & training courses
    18. Various civil docs:
    a. 1 August 1901 – Marriage certificate for Linkerts first wifes parents
    b. 17 May 1927 – Baptism certificate (certified copy) for Max Linkert
    c. 4 February 1928 – Marriage cert for Linkert and Frau Wilhelmine Borchardt
    d. 29 April 1935 – Certified copy of birth certificate for Wilhelmine Borchardt
    e. 10 march 1941 – Document clarifying which county “Schwientochlowitz” belongs. On the reverse is a request from Linkert for his birth cert. It is answered in typical bureaucratic fashion – “we can’t send birth cert based on front, we need more documentation. And send money”.
    f. 13 may 1941 – the birth certificate copy referenced in (d) above
    g. 10 June 1941 – Certified copy of Marriage License
    h. 2 January 1981 – handwritten last will & testament

Figured I'd post it here, just for the heck of it.

    best,
    Hank
