    The dealer at the referenced site identifies a similar cap, incorrectly, as WSP. That's the cryptic reference.

      Go it now, thanks Bill! Looks like the same cap as in this thread and the referenced site may have made an error in the listing or confused it with the WSP actually listed...maybe.
      Interested in the Gendarmerie - Schutzpolizei - Gemeinden - Feuerschutzpolizei - Wasserschutzpolizei - Etc. Looking For Anything Polizei Related!

        Yes, the cap on the dealer site identified as a Waterpolice officer cap is the same cap as germanpolice posted as a general's cap for some reason. And of course it isn't. Ferdinandmax posted a somewhat similar cap on the cloth cap forum, but though piped in gold on the crown and edge, it too had an officer eagle instead of gold for general.
