Opinions of WWII German Customs official uniform?

Hello,
I received this German customs uniform and was curious to hear your thoughts on it. It feels right to me the way it is constructed, the lining and sleeve material, as well as the bandage pocket inside the coat. Also I like the way that the collar tabs are sewn and the collar stitching as well. There also did seem to be the stitching lines where the coat once had a cuff title sewn on. The one thing I do not particularly like are that the loops for the shoulder boards are sewn on with black elastic strips. Were these ever used? What do you think of the coat? I see a couple of red flags on the construction of this tunic. There is no slit for a dagger hanger in the left lower pocket. Also, there is a slit for a pistol on the right lower pocket. This elongated slit was to allow a pistol to be worn on an underbelt or sling and to hang through the pocket in the same manner as a dagger on the other side. This is typical of postwar Polizei uniform tunics but not for wartime tunics. The tunic deserves some more scrutiny IMHO.

Are there any belt ramps or support straps for metal belt ramps? Are the top two button holes and buttons identical to the lower ones?

Schupo, you are correct the top two button holes are different then the rest. So this is a post WWII customs officials uniform that was converted to resemble WWII? Thanks again for your help in this matter.

Yes, a postwar open collar West German Police tunic that has been converted. The typical construction for wartime Landzoll tunics would have slash lower pockets and green piping on the cuffs. The cuffband would be worn above the French cuff and not on it.
