I came across this Feldgendarm eagle and I am a littke bit surprised by the blue backing.
What do you feel about this blue backing ?

NCO sleeve eagles rarely have a backing, but when they do, generally scrap was used and almost any color found in a military tailors shop can be observed. The backing color on the insignia you show is not an issue in my opinion.

The insignia is NOT Feldgendarm, it is civil gendarmerie, ie; civil police not military.

Nice insignia by the way. I wouldn't mind having it.
