Cap on E-stand?

Hello,

A schrimmutze just sold on e-stand. Police green with gray piping and BLACK cap band. Anybody have an idea what it might be? Advertised as Admin., and looks authentic, but a black cap band throws me.

I think there are some issues with this cap. I do know that they are being reproduced as there is a fake Verwaltungs Polizei Officer cap on Gunbroker that has been there for some time.

Anyway, it certainly should not have a black band but a brown one. Secondly, the insignia is not quite right as it has an enlisted flat cockade and a circa 1934 enlisted eagle instead of officer quality insignia. Third, the visor appears to not be vulkanfibre and has a postwar looking grey underside from what is barely visible in the photographs. I would want lots more pictures before I would consider buying it but someone has.

Perhaps Stonemint will chime in here as he is much better with caps than most of us.

I agree, this one just doesn't sit well with me either for the already stated reasons. I'm also having a tough time finding other like maker visors. Further pictures and comments are needed for this one.
