I picked up this 1st pattern Luftschutz membership badge at the West Coast Collector Show.

Standard, worn obverse. What is interesting is the hook arrangement on the reverse. I have seen these badges in stickpin form, and with the safety pin arrangement. I've never seen a hook attachment on this badge before.

Opinions, please.

Gary, I think this badge initially had a stickpin, which was snapped and shaped into this hook-form.
