Strip of Police eagles for "armoured units"

Picked up this strip of grey eagles on black cloth this week
From what I've read they are for armoured Police units and pretty
rare.
I've only been able to locate a few threads on these on the forum
I'm sure they are 100% good but,
I'm probably going to list a couple of them for sale on e-stand
but as always wanted to verify they are A-ok

They look good to me, typical BEVo, and they are a rare bird. I've had upto about 5 of them at one point (only one now). Mine were roughly roll cut and I could match them back together. By the looks of the number you posted in that strip, this just effectly doubled what's known out there! Congrats!

There are 11 in the roll.

Before I purchased them I contacted Mr. Unland as I had a few questions for him
on these and he informed me the same sentiments as you did on the "known"
quantity of these out there.

Hi Robert,
the pic wasnt that great but I felt pretty comfortable with them.
I almost gave up on them but then threw one last bid at them.
I tried at the SS buckle but gave up on it at the end.

Indeed as others have said nice original insignia. I think that all of those known in the USA at least probably came from the same roll, which was cut up into strips like this back in the day. All of these gray eagles are the same whereas the green versions come in at least 3 versions.

Some people do have all of the lucky, well scored.
