No, no, no. Repro in my opinion, embroidery is far from good enough and there should not be a black line around the tabs these should be embroidered seperately

Here are my RAD collar tabs. My understanding is that these were in gold for officers less than the head of RAD, whose name escapes me at this time.

As to the tabs posted by Gunny 249, I cannot agree they are fakes. This organization is not the type to draw repros. No eagle, no swastika. Only a shaft of wheat.

The wire is different, but that could be attributed to a different maker. I believe the quality of the embroiderey is up to period standards. These tabs coud be real.

I just don't see these being of such demand as to be faked.

Through a typo error, I mistakenly got the color of the wire backwards. Silver for officers less than the head of RAD, who wore his and his alone, "Wheat Shaft" collar tabs in Gold.

The GOLD color was designated for ALL General Ranks and the Reichsarbietstfurher Konstantin Hierl. All other officers wore Silver.

RAD generals tabs are faked which these are supposed to be at the beginning of the thread, when you consider that they would go for $1500 for an original pair then fakes in these will exist, and the embroidery for a generals pair of tabs would be top notch not this rubbish proffered here

Mark, thank you for the information. I read somewhere that Hierl (thanks for reminding me of his name) was the only member to have gold insignia. I stand corrected.

Does anybody know how many RAD generals there were? This woud certainly be relevant in determining just how rare gold collar tabs really could be.

$1500 is a lot of money. If collar tabs in gold are that rare, it could be justified

                            Just what are the numbers?

Sorry for "one's" instead of "ones" in the title. My son was standing behind me asking me questions at the time, and it momentarily distracted me.
