This disk belonged to Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk of the city of Schwerte in Westphalia.

OK. I think the translation might be railroad "mending" factory in the city of Schwerte ?

Mark, quite right, it as appears from tool jetton (Werkzeugmarke) of car-repair plant (railroad) in Schwerte.

            Regards,
            Serg.

Thank you ! You have been most helpful. I wouldn't think there are too many of these floating around anymore. I got it over the weekend in a large group of tinnies and TR medals.

You understand that Serge described it as a property tag from one of the tools in that repair shop. It was not worn by one of the employees.

Quite right, it not "Erkennungsmarke" of the employee.
