These reproducers are some of the worst for us...

Although the metal insignia on the cap is crap looking, it has come up here before but the 'A' marked example will cause far more problems in the future.

The cloth insignia worries me the worse, a little age, wear, tear to make it look the part and we'll see this all over the place. I've been watching it, it's going to be coming.

Also note, it appears the cords in the rank straps maybe black which is SD = to more $. They are good, they have been watching...
Interested in the Gendarmerie - Schutzpolizei - Gemeinden - Feuerschutzpolizei - Wasserschutzpolizei - Etc. Looking For Anything Polizei Related!

      Dave,

I thought that you would appreciate their NEW metal cap eagle. I don't know about you but if mounted it would be VERY difficult to dismiss. Those cloth eagles are way better than their old offering. Hard to imagine a repro TENO eagle not intended to trick advanced insignia collectors. No re-enactor value at all.

They say that this stuff is made in Kyoto, but I doubt it. Way back when I was told it was all contracted in China.

Their SS stuff looks very convincing, at least to me. Lately they have been offering medals and badges too. 3 piece iron crosses, zinc assault badges, and even riders and sports badges. NOTHING is safe.

Here is a China made repro tunic, I think from the same source. Not bad, but they sure like the Assmann name. They come in all colors by the way. The pocket has a matching name tag.

Our friends from China certainly put a lot of effort into this stuff don't they?

Scary line up! There is NO other reason for such matching repros, as to scam collectors.

Good thing is, that these special chinese guys obviously never heard about the "Goethe Institut"

This hobby is going to become a minefield more and more dangerous every day. I ´ll have to come back to the stamps, I´m afraid.

Apparently there is a big demand in Japan for "Nazi" stuff. Just google Japanese Nazi and you will see. What's up with this?
