    Ordensburg tunic?

Could this have been a ordensburg jacket? The cuffs are shortened. The buttons are civil.

Usually they are marked inside...although the ordensburg early tunics were of two different cuts...and different pocket flaps .(ca.36/first year) it is a good question and it just may be one....I'll check some shots ....just checked...and from what I saw , I dont give it much chance .At least for the early as I said tunics...maybe later possibly, but it looks different on the lapels. (lapels shapes, lengths etc ...should be longer on bottom lapel than top, and close together, not with a big space between) they had a scalloped pocket on one type, and an almost straight type on others...not sure if it was a rank thing, but may have just been offered in two different cuts ....one member found a good one some years back...you may want to review some of the threads....still a nice tunic....look for signs of tag removals on it, and check it with a fine toothed comb...but still a nice jacket...maybe someone will have more info about this exact style of cut for this uniform you have ....I recall post war american sailors having their uniforms reworked to use as church jackets , maybe this was reworked for civilian use post war. I like it anyway, almost looks like an american womens IKE style jacket as the collar on this one has more of an ike style lapel, and just may be WAC..BUT I feel confidant someone will crack the mystery.

One obvious observation is that the pockets look very different from an Ordensburg tunic. Then again, it may be some sort of RMBO related private-purchase piece as they used this pattern early on in their service: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=707489

I will need fabric for the cuffs. Could anybody help me?
