Guys,

Been offered these Gorgets, look like the chain on the SA has been replaced, what do you think about overall originality ? Opinions greatly appreciated

I can only answer on the one, the example with the police insignia is a reproduction/fake of a really rare gorget. Hope that helps.

The police-gorget is a fake, due to the fact the wrong emblem is being used. Here is used the symbol for the Kartuschtasche, the leather pouch.

The real symbol for a police gorget is larger and reaches too the lower edge. The inner opening for the wreath touches practically the wings.
With the fake one there is more space between wreath and wings.

The color for the shown one is all over the same silver, but an original has an old silver-tone and very good details!

If the DRGM is upon the tang for the SA-gorget. Then it is also a fake. Originals were not ever marked like this.
