These are still common.....value runs between $35.00 to $90.00+, so $30.00 isn't way out of line (dealer price).... but is on the low side of retail.... depends on what you paid, how badly you want to sell it, and "other factors"....

Value is only what someone is willing to pay and what you're willing to take.

Value could be effected by what the rubber stamp markings are.... I can't "read" them...but could be a factor.

I agree with John. Dealers ask usually from $60 to $100 so $30 is pretty good. Stamps do mean a lot and can tell you wait it was used for thus being of interest to different collecting fields....

I cant get a very clear picture of the stamp...maybe someone can tell what it says. I read on a site that there is supposed to be one stamp to the left of the eagle. Has anyone heard that before?

The first word on the top looks to say der and the second word I read land- and the other half I can't read. It is odd to have 2 stamps that look the same. Maybe someone can use photo shop to change the contrast? If I knew how to I would.....

Thanks taz! The part on the bottom left looks like Barmen? All I can read is.....

                        der Landrat
                        Barmen

Can't read the other part on the bottom left. Maybe someone else can? To me it sounds like the other part is what the district executive is the leader of in Barmen....

The stamp is the issue authority stamp.... "der Landrat" basically meaning "District" ... "Barmen".... , I also can't read enough of the last word...but would probably be more details of the issue location.

The stamp markings are typical, so they don't effect the value either way...
