What kind of midwar M44 cap? These are HEAVILY REPRODUCED ("ALL" types) and we'd need much more information to judge value....
Price range could be $50.00 (good repro.) to $3500.00 (or more) for some W-SS examples....

If you talking a Polz. M44 ....$300./650.00 (or more) depending on exactly what it is... and whose selling it.
