Mine rescue medal, opinions?

I know these are quite rare and also faked.

I was offered this one but I have to admit that I know nothing about these.
Note that the details are a little strange but I think that has to do with the angle and the fact he used a flash.

Impossible to tell from these photos. The ribbon looks good but the details of the actual medal appear soft whereas they are very sharp on originals.

Were there different manufacturers of these during the IIIrd Reich period as there are several differences between these examples ?

Hi Ian,

Yes, there were at least two different designs which are mostly distinguishable by the eagles head. One is the type that Ron has posted and the other looks like the medal in post #1 which is a copy of this original.

I see huge quality differences when I compare the "for sure" good and the one from the sample board.

Color and the details are softer on the salesman example.....
