Luftschutz 1 Klasse Medal in tombak

Got lucky at the Max this year and came home with this handsome thing.
Rare is a bit of an understatement but to find them in tombak is virtually impossible.

It is easy to understate the rarity and desirability of an unquestionable original tombak version of the First Class Luftschutz medal. I have only seen one other, in close to 5 decades. This is a beauty and Matthew is very fortunate to have found one.

Thank You Gents for your kind words. I have been looking for one for a long time. Found few in zinc but had my heart set on tombak example. As rare as they are it would seem they were made by (at least) two different manufacturers.
