Fake or Real mother cross in gold?

I just wonder what your opinion is about this mutter kreuz im gold?
Is it real or a fake?

By the way. Is there any fakes on the market (must be right?), if so - how to spot em?

Some fakes are out there but the ones I have seen are badly faked !

It's good, there are tons of fakes out there, some recent ones very good too that will for sure fool many collectors.


The debate about the many post war continued produced crosses is still "open" too and impossible to distinguish (yet?) from most wartime crosses. This said, the shown cross has all characteristocs of a so far "accepted" one. The future will tell where the debate will result in and how we will look upon these crosses in the future.
