Hi Christophe, as stated you have an original RAD cap insignia.
As for cost, they usually run from $20 - $50 depending on what dealer site you visit.

I just got one of these as well, I guess there was more than one maker of these because mine is marked differently. Mine actually has RAD on the reverse and the prongs on mine are aluminum I think. Actually mine has a 37 where yours has the 38. I wonder what that signifies. ..

there are tens and tens of manufturer's for this type of bade.
37 means manufactured in 1937; 38 so in 1938. This was as according to manufacturing regulations from the High Command.
