Hi Chris and thank you, Your examples are also outstanding. My favorites are the Grand Prix ones as I’m a big fan of formula one. I would love to find the 1935 event bands one day because the completion between the Italians and the Germans was fierce and legendary. But yeah they are very fragile and we are lucky to have them after so many years, surely were not meant to last this long.

Deutschlandflug armband from the 1935 air race that took part over 6 German states under the supervision of the luftwaffe and using beginner and inferior type smaller planes. Not sure who would have used this band at this event, I’m open to suggestions. It was stored with another blue luftschutz band, probably security or crowd controller from the same event. See next post.

I never had a chance to buy a chaplain armband, I would like to add one to the collection one day. Seen one at sos last year but came with the whole uniform. I like the quality this band presents.ABE0F720-D343-40CB-9C62-EE22519E3593.jpg

At first I liked how the kdf logo was designed, then I started to look into the program and really interested me, specially the story of the Wilhelm Gustloff. It amazes me that from so many thousands of different activities all over Europe, kdf armbands are so rare to encounter for sale. Here are my examples, first three are from cruise tour leaders from aboard the Sierra Córdoba and the Stuttgart.11ACD452-4A26-49E6-A6CE-A296DAC0E29B.jpg
