I do have a soft spot for ONS, ADAC, NSKK and other racing and motor vehicles related bands.

Beautiful armbands, Mario. Thanks for posting them. I especially like the South African NSP band. I fully agree with you. The NSKK, ONS, and DDAC racing event armbands are really special and IMO, among the rarest of all armbands because they were made for 1 to 3 day racing events and then were no longer valid so either returned to the racing organizers or just thrown away (a few were kept as souvenirs/keepsakes by the participants which is why there are still some in circulation, but those had to survive through the devastation that took place in Germany during the war years! Have you noticed that they are always printed and very cheaply made on very thin linen/silk because they were expendable and not made to last long? You do have some nice examples. Great finds! In my 23 years of collecting, I seldom come across any so when I do, I snatch them up. I have attached one photo of an event where you can see the drivers wearing armbands, but the photo is too long distance to make out what they say. I have also attached examples of NSKK armbands that I was lucky to add to my collection over the years (I will add some ONS armbands in another post). Thanks again for sharing and good luck with your great collection, Chris
