Very nice examples everyone. I am beginning to think RonR owns one of everything, great armbands and good photography too. I am esp. fond of Joe's wartime Police translator's armband, stylized like the "Im dienst der Sicherheitspolizei" armbands. I'll try an post some of my examples later.

By order of 15 August 1942, Army Districts had to appoint a Luftschutz Leader.
To indicate his function, he wore a special armband on the left upper arm of his normal service uniform.
