Nha, prices of the really rare armbands always have been a bit expensive but still affordable as you say compare to the rest of the (SS - paratrooper LOL ) stuff !
How many armbands are over 1000 $ ???
Anyhow, keep up posting, I enjoy it ! And is this not the main reason of collecting and posting ... Having fun ! ?

Agreed, compared to other TR collectibles they aren't terrible price wise. Lots of variation clearly as well which makes it a fun hunt.

I have a few more I need to post up, they are just in the process of being flattened.

Wool NSDAP, was sold claiming to have belonged to Josef Bürckel, but no real provenance of it.

This one is a little unusual. Looks pretty cheesy and fake but in hand I do feel it is original.
Ive seen similar armbands with the slogan "Mit Hitler", with and without swastikas, worn by Austrians in support of the Anschluss. This band seems to be home made, and the swastika was drawn on. Unfortunately it got wet at some point and almost makes the band look like its done with a magic marker.

And here's 1 other which is technically pre TR, but I will throw it in as well. Found this one all crushed in a ball at the last SOS.

Der Oberbürgermeister der Stadt Braunschweig. I assume this band is related to someone working under the mayor of Braunschweig. Hard to date it but based on the stamp not being TR I am going to assume it is Weimar.
