    Lifesaving medal on estand

Looking at the swastica, lettering and few other details it looks rather home made.
    Opinions?
    thanks,

Hi Matt, I surely understand your sceptism when seeing a Lebensrettung of inferior design and quality than we are used to.

What speaks for this medal is that its a very unique lettering compared to other makers of this medal. We also know from Schickles sales catalogue that they produced a odd looking Lifesavingmedal.

Just noticed that on both medals, if you look at the outer double rim line on the obverse it melts into one from 2 O'clock to 7 O'clock. I this acceptable for a supposedly coin struck medal?

Yes. It looks quite crude in details.

Just wanted to point out that text and links in my posting, has been removed from my posting whithout any explanation to me. What I tried to share was a link to another forum in which a similiar medal was posted recently with the full LDO code. I was of the understanding that it was ok to link to other sites if it was relevant to the thread, sorry if I misunderstood that.
