I have seen these porcelain bells go from 100€ and up but some even where at 900€ could anyone please explain what woul make this huge difrence in price from the same seller ?

Regarding the photo album, it looks like a private album but when I look a the photos it lok slike they are taken by a professional photograph.

I have not managed to find a Olympic flag during my search are they any rare?

            Olympic items

Hello, I gave an opinion about the books you posted in another thread. I worked at the 1972 Olympics in Munich and would be interested in the group of items you have from the 1936 Olympics. Thank you, Pauke

              Hi Berra,

You have a fine collection from the '36 Berlin Olympic Games there! I'm sure many collectors would love to have it!

While I have not studied or collected Olympic memorabilia specifically, I would think that the great fluctuation in prices for souvenir bells would have to do with the size of the piece -- there were various sizes offered for sale during the games -- the quality and manufacturer of the piece -- running from pottery to fine porcelain -- and the condition of the piece. IMO, of course!

              Happy New Year,

              Br. James

Thanks for the info James it makes perfect sense what you said about the quality and size being what makes the differences in price.

I like the items they are maybe not very high in price individualy but put together IMO they make a Olympic games lot.

I found some more info regarding the bell in an ebay auction,

                Porzellanmanufaktur KPM Berlin
                Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur Berlin

                Innenseitig dunkelblaue Manufakturmarke (Zeptermarke)
(Dark blue Manufactory mark (Scepter mark) inside)
                Erste Wahl (First Choice)

                Have a Happy new Year!
