traffic eagles ? original ? opinions please

was looking at purchasing 1 of the red and the water eagles are the red traffic or not and are the red and gold eagles good ? as I have only seen the red on white style. any help would be great. also ive never seen a benz factory eagle

I am sorry, but in my opinion, for what that is worth, ALL of the eagles in the photo appear to possibly be reproduction to me. Straight on photos would help, but I would be cautious if I were buying. The WasserSchuPo needs a closer look. The Benz looks to be a fantasy, but again a straight on look would help. Factory firemen wore a lot of different uniforms but blue, not brown was both traditional and standard. But again, just an opinion. The 2 red eagles meet my criteria for reproduction of this pattern. There are good eagles of this type, but also repros. Ask for better photos, but my educated opinion is that these are bad.

Carmine red on green was not traffic but Gemeindenpolizei, the small town civil police, disbanded and
Incorporated into the SchuPo in 1941 .....I believe.

I agree with Bill that all police patterns appear to be reproductions and better pictures would help to see them although my opinion will more than likely be the same. The Benz example is a known repro pattern. The orange example maybe one of the "hoard" found types. Try searching for "hoard" for further info.

Carmine on green was actually for Feuerschutzpolizei who wore the green police uniforms. Gemeinden or GemPo was a wine red. See the pinned threads in this forum on each branch.

That Water Police looks scarry (good). I would be curious if/or not the back glows under UV. With the exception of the oversized eye, the rest looks well made and right.
