In the past, I have had 2 other Bahnhofswache gorgets; both with only eagles and scroll (no other insignias).


Dear Friends,

I am collecting german gorgets for many many years now.

I am not looking for any help concerning authenticity of mine ; I just want to share my collection with you.

I bought it 20 years ago. It's very heavy but I don't think it's a fantasy.

But I am really open to any discussion.

Many years ago, I am sure to have seen an identical gorget on the forum (maybe thanks to Gordon Williamson); do you remember this ?

My Martin Bormann's Organisationsbuch - Obersalzberg - 1945

Dear All,

Thanks a lot another time for your comments...

I am sure you have gorgets too to show on the forum ! Come on Guys !

Some of them contact me about my Organisationsbuch.

This one is in leather and is numbered : 0004 (!)

It was picked up in Martin Bormann's House at Obersalzberg by a French officer in 1945.

Inside is a stamp :

Eigentum
Reichsleiter Bormann

After visiting this website, you'll understand why my book is not in perfect condition ! Bombs, fire, wind and rain have done their jobs !

I think such a book with such a story is very rare ?
