I have never seen this before. By looking at the backing material I would think it was used on a military uniform. But of course any thing is possible till proven. The other thing is the use of the edelweiss, I do not know much about the pre Nazi German use of this flower but I do know the Reich used it allot on there uniforms.Originally posted by RonR View PostComment

Here is an interesting sport shirt. This insignia was provided to firms who met the highest of NSDAP standards. It was produced like the black standard insignia only gold thread was used.. The factory patch appears on the left lower quadrant of the shirt.Comment

NSFK Sport Shirt Insignia
Finally, I located an authentic NSFK sport shirt insignia. Shown here is a fake (top) and a period example. The fake is much thicker and has a synthetic 'nylon feel'. The authentic insignia folds easily. The fake glows brightly during a black light inspection, while the real one does not glow at all.Comment

NSFK Sport Shirt Insignia, Black Light Exam
I tried to take photos of the black light examination of the fake and authentic NSFK insignia. The 1st photo was taken in a pitch black room, no flash, with the camera set to "night portrait"; The fake glows (blue color in this photo), while the real one does not react at all. The 2nd photo was taken in a pitch black room with no flash. You can see how the fake glows. The real one is under it, but you can't see it because of the lack of a reaction. Anyway, I thought that some members might like to see this comparison.Comment

This is a vary early Hitler Youth sport shirt insignia. I have seen a photo of a bevo version of this insignia, but now that I have found this in chain stitching makes me wonder about the bevo version.Comment

This is a black version of the Deutch Turnershaft. There are 2 I am still looking for before I frame these. I would like to get a chain stitched version witch is a little larger and there is a blue one that has the colors opposite then the blue one I have posted on this thread.Comment

I found a bunch of SA roundels that I need but found them at the end of the show after I spent my money. I was able to get this one and it is the one I was hoping to find so I am happy. The dealer said he will hold the others for me so my fingers are crossed.Comment

This is my 2nd large police eagle I need the elephant trunk eagle yet. I have another version that I framed and forgot to take a scan of so I will get that up soon. I was able to complete several sets of more common ones such as Luft, Rad, I still need a small Reichspost then that will be finished.Comment
