Here is an Award Recommnedation for Polizei Oberwachtmeister Theodor Podstawski. He was recommneded for the War Merit Cross for working as a translator for the Police during some operation named: Kolonie Ameryka that took place on February 14th, 1944. My question is does anyone have any info on this operation? It was most likely an anti-partisan operation but I have been unable to find any info.The award recommendation was signed by his Lieutenant, Captain, by Major der Schutzpolizei Willy Suchanek and finally approved by SS Gruppenfuher and General of Polizei Jakob Sporrenburg.
