Interesting document dated 1947. I assume he continued to serve as a policeman during the allied occupation and was discharged?

What a great grouping, congrats The discharge does indicate immedate postwar service...any idea what happened after 1947?

From what I could make out is that at the time of his discharge (retirement) he was 67 years old and suffering from a back injury (lumbar abnormality) and Bronchial Asthma. He most likely died without fanfare some years later.
