Just pick up a sweet set of boullion tabs and boards. The boards are for a Hauptwachtmeister.

The tabs appear to be for the Oberwachtmeister/Maschinenmeister level.

Any information is appreciated

Very nice set. Could be pre-NS or war time. Always wanted a set like this.

Pre-war these would be for a senior NCO in the prison service, after 1940.... I think these could be court or prison.

Before the war court officers had carmine piping on the green boards, very strange looking insignia.

According to the 1942 regulations these would be the correct collar tabs for this shoulderboard rank. Pay grade 10 Hauptwachtmeister (with 3 Rosetten) would have worn Tresse 2 (with double tresse) collar tabs and the Kordel 2 cap cords (2 green 1 alum). Ranks below pay grade 9 would have worn the collar tabs with a single tresse or tabs without the tresse.

Yes, the one that Jiri shows is exactly the double Tresse as shown in the 1942 regulations for Hauptwachtmeister. The lower ranks had a single line of sewn Tresse. The ones shown above have two lines of Tresse as called for but without the pointed central addition between the two lines of sewn Tresse. So, a variation with two lines of Tresse indicating "Kragenspiegel mit Tresse 2"
