Gentlemen

Here is a social welfare medal with ribbon and packet.

It came out of an attic in Germany and does not look as though it has ever been issued. As you can see the ribbon has gone a lovely dark pink colour. The medal itself has a dark patina and also looks as though it has undergone some sort of sweating as evidenced by the staining.

What do the experts think?

the ribbon is absolutely mint and the colours consistent along its's entire length and on both sides.
