Could you let me know the german kingdoom they are from ?
When I see the the schako plate I don't think they are prussian.

VERY NICE photo Alain. These policemen are from Land Sachsen (the Weimar era state of Saxony). Their headgear is more of a kepi style rather than a schako. Notice the buckle of the policeman on the left. You can see the detail of the Saxon crest.

Those young Weimar era policemen were a playfull bunch. With their world in turmoil about them, they found time to horse around.

Possibly... this could it be a reinactment of some action where they arrested dissident communiists, as at the time, the comunists and the socialists were fighting to take Germany over. One guy has a sipo cosh, but i dont think he is on the side of the police , but fighting them. Intresting.

I have a few Weimar era photo albums and there are similar comical poses. But this one might have had a serious end. Notice the policeman on the lower right with the rifle on his back pointing the P08 at the young man. The extractor on that P08 is visible. The pistol he is holding with his finger on the trigger either has a live round in the chamber, a practice round or an empty case.
